For Social Workers and Chaplains


Eligibility

  • Enrollment in Professional Development in Communication and Supportive Care
  • All levels of experience welcome.


Format

  • A series of three, 3-hour in-person seminars featuring both didactic and case-based learning
  • Chaplains’ seminars focus on Palliative Care and Hospice ministry.  Course content addresses several of the competencies required to apply for the APC and NACC Collaborative Palliative Care and Hospice Advanced Certification (BCC-PCHAC).
  • Social workers’ seminars prepare for the APHSW-C specialty certification. 
  • Chaplains’ and social workers’ seminars are held separately.

Time – 1:00 – 4:00 pm, with an optional lunch gathering or appetizer and refreshment hour following the seminar
